How to know your worth and set your rates

  • Do research by browsing Fiverr, Upwork and other freelancer sites to see what people are charging for similar services.
  • Do research by asking anyone else you may know in the industry (or reach out to people you don’t know yet on social media to see if they might share their rate)
  • Don’t settle for free work/cheap work if it doesn’t feel aligned with where you’re at with your experience. Etc.

How to show clients what your rates are

  • Decide on your rates and create a rate sheet using a template (you can find examples on Canva!)
  • Keep in mind that you can adjust your rates over time as you gain more experience!
  • Showcase your rates on your website (but you don’t necessarily need to!)
  • You might want to charge different rates for different clients & types of projects

oh, and you can win free stuff just by signing up & referring friends!
